random thoughts about today:
- today ended like i was stuck in a dick clark blooper reel
- i refuse to eat anything au gratin
- suddenly i'm looking forward to holiday shopping (maybe because my family is not speaking to me) - it must be drunken shoppig with chris and we must go to MARBLES
- i love the planning to and the actual purchase of office supplies! give me a nice coupla pens and some legal pads and i am happy.
- i'm working on a project at work that may never see the light of day - i think i'm using working on it to save my sanity..as i don't think we will ever use it or need it but i'm just pluggin away everyday.... that seems symptomatic of some form of mental disease.
- i hate the heavy sigh! as the cowards way of voicing disapproval - if you have something to fucking say to me say it - cuz you can huff yourself into a coma and I WON'T CARE
- i've been dreaming about cat food

hi.
today was a day. work was work. o.k. on some levels, good on others and totally jive horseshit on others... and so it goes and so it goes and so it goes.....
i went to see LOST IN TRANSLATION this evening...i went with carolyn and the sinner we all sat with an empty seat between us.. so despite the fact that we went en masse - i still think i went by myself... i went alone with other people (and i kind of like that- i've had many "dates" like that - big ups enzo) anyhow.. i will spare you my review because i don't want to regurgitate (thanks mr. joe jackson for bringing that word back) the same stuff you've heard about the premise and such, i will say these few things:
1. i liked it.
2. it was bittersweet and good at it
3. if anyone out there sees this movie and has something bad to say about bill murray they should go to hell. (he was great)
4. i liked it.
there you have it.
then i came home, watched some tv, laughed about calling movies "flicks" and reminisced about how much i hate the word "sketch" in all its uses.... hate it. SKETCH... let me sketch that out for you, here its a sketch i did of you and your toaster, hey i wrote this great sketch for my sketch comedy class at Second City, he was the master of sketch comedy, oh those are just my rough sketches........... god don't you hate it.

tomorrow is friday - and i don't have to work on monday!!! (well i have to bartend but i don't have to be at the school!!! hooray).

there was a menacing spider on the hood of my car today then when i pulled into my driveway, got out of the car to look for him and knock him into next week.. he had disappeared.

i'm plum tuckered out! we had a marathon staff meeting today at work... liquor should be provided the minute we go over and hour! it would help.
i know the vet said jack can't really feel the insulin shots i give him in the designated area on his neck (conveniently shaved so i know) - but if he doesn't feel it why does he flinch and move away when i'm about to do it. this is emotional torture. i hate to hurt him. although chris pointed out that the other option might be death so i guess he'll have to get use to it>> for his burls sake.
other then that not much going on! i'm looking forward to next week, i have several events that will bring me back to work at the bar and after all the $$ i've spent on my fly hooptie (car) this week, and many and various other expenditures that have come up.. i am glad to make whatever i can. let's see we've got a coupla pre-season cavs things (hooray - thank you lebron), the eagles (not a big fan), shania twain (not a fan but enjoy the mockery of country fans.. i even have a cowboy hat at work to wear in homage!), tony hawk - skating thingy (no can do - clap clap), and simon and garfunkle (who will be ripping it at gund arena). so that's kind of nice packing all of it into 1.5 weeks is good!
things tasted very salty to me today.

hi ho everyone. waaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzupppppppp?
i'm doing fine. today at work i accomplished things, felt good about things, planned things and laughed aloud several times. that's good.
today is CAROLYN AND THE SINNERS anniversary! god bless them and their special love. i called to say happy anniversary and to see if they had any sort of romantic interlude planned and sam said he was working on the upstairs hall way and carolyn was walking the dog (genie!!), i said "dude, you're doing it wrong - at least light a few candles and make eyebrows at her". oh well - i think we that is them and i are going to see LOST IN TRANSLATION tomorrow, that should be both fun and nice.
other then that.... not a whole lot. burl report: jack is i think getting the burl back.
and i'm glad.
NYPD blue is on tonight, i've missed both of the first episodes of this season, sadly i'm feeling ambivalent toward the show... hopefully i can regain some of the passion tonight.

as my compeedo was signing on to the internet.com i spent the time using my pretend cell phone (filled with candy with actual beeping buttons) acting like i had calls.. and i laughed out loud! this is real life man.

when your sliding into home and your pants are full of foam - diareaha, diarrrhea!!
thats about how i feel. but my nevous stomach will be over monday at 3:00 - i'll fill you all in later but the administration of diarrrheeaaa is not a nice thing to do.
so tonight we celebrated CAROLYN, what a beautiful lady, what a fine fine lady. what a lady what a night! we had some food, we had some drinks except for the webmaster flying V who insisted he is pregnant. we had some coffee and some treats there were presents given! sam yelled at the television with joy at the browns first score!! i don't follow football but i am rooting for sam.
i have nice friends, they are both fun and nice!
