holy crapola - no more july. that stinks. buuut ma'birfday is comin up quick and carolyn just told me if i don't think of something i want for my birthday she'll let una pick it out and lately una says i should have a "swimming baby doll". frankly that doesn't sound too bad to me.

i was looking at hammocks online today - don't ask... they're too expensive...and i've got too much shade and too big a fear of spiders.

-- so today is actually t.g.i. thursday cuz i'm off tomorrow - yippie!! although i've got to find somethin for my moms's birthday - it can be easy and very difficult to shop for her so lets pray of easy (and quick). then i'm invited over ma'dog sue's house her husbands nephew and a coupla his pals are coming over for burgers et al so i've been invited over as "moral support" for her... although given her past i'm thinking she's trying to fix me up with someone or to see if there's any interest on my part - she keeps saying "oh its just a cook out with me, joel and like 4 - 35 year old dudes. whats the biggie?" i think she's trying to be sneaky. oh well it'll be fine.

--- i went for a walk / run this a.m. it was nice.... hot as hell but nice by the lake - very pretty.

other then that i'm ticking out my workday here tick tick tick tick tick tick

sooooooooooo its tuesday - lil george tuesday.

i've got 11.5 hours to work this week till i'm on VACATION again.

i went shoppin with my friend sue today..... we hit the waaaay west side but it was fun... not as productive as i had hoped but nothing really appealed to me. but it was nice to hang out and drive around. i did get some glorious produce from a road side stand type place we stopped at-- some corn, tomatoes and blueberries yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

sunday i went to HALE FARM & VILLAGE with the welk & family..... it was pretty fun - about as fun as hale farm can be i suppose.... cjw called me at like 9 a.m. and said "hey wanna go with us to hale farm" and i said "uh not really" then una got on the phone and said "dea, if you don't go to the farm i will come to your house and take your cats!" i was threatened by a 4 year old....so i went.... it was pretty good though walkin around lookin at stuff - seein some cows and odd people who stayed in character a little toooooo long - to where it was disturbing- they were like those weird ladies on that polygamist compound in texas - you know the ones with the bad hairdooos - creepy.

then i went home and took a nap and went back over there for a cook out - how lovely.

oh well lets link arms and trudge through the rest of this week together - onward to victory.
