i got a hair do today nice to see marilyn such a dear dear lady great house, great kids, great husband - i think she signed on for the complete package deal. and of course she is a good friend.
my hand is cramped into a monkey claw from working on this blanket i'm making.. seriously.
so now i am off to bed with one day left of my "spring break" the weather will be suckish but i will do ma'best to have a good day. why don't you do the same.

ps: i love how people are always sooo amazed that americans are the fattest people ever how can you be surprised when booooogar king is introducing a new item called "the enormous breakfast sandwich" ----- a.) you really don't need a sandwich for breakfast let alone an ENORMOUS one . b.) eggs, maybe some bacon i guess understandable but packed on an ENORMOUS sandwich seems excessive. c.) how about fruit, cottage cheese, whole grain toast, oatmeal that seems fairly reasonable for breakfast. d.) the king should maybe try marketing "the ENORMOUS bowl of shredded wheat and fresh fruit" - it's just a thought.. but go ahead fat america eat it up, buy bigger pants and feign astonishment at the news reports.... you are fucking awesome.

thursday.
i woke up yesterday with a bit of a cold - i'm currently fighting it... successfully i think. it does suck though.
i saw on the news that it may snow.. does anyone else want to address what jive ghetto bullshit that is... c'mon now i think we're about done here.
so today at the liberry ma'dudes from the rehab down the road came in..they come in a coupla times a week...all really nice guys that i'm always glad to see. so that helped the day. this week has really flown by of course -- because i was off school. vacation days never seem to linger do they?
today i was a little late for work because "the killing fields" was on tv (grim baby grim) and i had to wait to see the end when dith prahn and sidney are reunited...you'd be a fucking idiot to watch all that tragedy and skip out on the end and if the f.w.b. had a word to say about my tardiness thats exactly what i'd tell her... only a damned fool would cut out before the end of that one, bitch.
so manana i will watch the second bridget jones movie..gay i know but i really liked the first one... total ladies movie, cheesy, drippy unrealistic but i liked it. then i work 2-6. saturday.. HAIRDOOOOOOO with maj. sunday i think i'm supposed to work for the cavs game.. i don't want to - its an afternoon game so at least if i got to leave after it started it wouldn't be too big a urination on my sunday but i'd rather not. its just not that big a deal for me anymore - the money i make at points a. and b. are sufficient. although the "home opener" (also what we affectionately call the bottle opener i brought to the bar from my house..."has anyone seen the home opener?") is coming up and i'm torn.. i'd like to have a handful of cash but its on a monday and i feel that i've missed too much work at school this year already... illness, car issues ect. it think its a 3:00 game so maybe if i could do 12:00 - 6:00 that'd be good but i don't think i can get a day off at the liberry that day due to the new saturday rotations.... shit shit shit shit.. i don't know i guess i'll burn that bridge when i get to it.
anyhoooo i'm off to watch some tv from the comfort of the electric blanket & the monkey blanket.

tuesday.. chris, i was about to say... "what day is it?" see even by myself i don't know.
anyhoooo glad to see that my blog of yesterday made it (i think).. the blogger isn't acting to bloggerific seems to be blogged up or something not so blogtastic.

today was nice, why? can't put ma'finger on it. just an all around good day i guess. worked at the berry in the evening and because the youth of today are on spring break its been quiet and enjoyable.. plus the f.w.b. is off several days this week so that makes the environs much more pleasant. she was a gigantic ball of crankiness today.. yikes.... one of the young ladies i work withs boyfriend had to have an emergency apendectomy (how the hell do you spell that?) anyhow it was life threatening anyhoo he got released from the hospital today so julie asked to leave work to go get him... and subsequently she is in a world of shit from the f.w.b. tomorrow.... i still don't see the big deal in her leaving for a coupla hours... but it became an enormous issue there.... i guess theres always the fear in the minds of management that the day we're one person short on staff will be the day that 47 grey hound busses will break down on fleet avenue and we'll be totally out of control . thankfully that didn't happen so waaaaaaaazzzz up with the hysterics......! idiots.
oh well....
of course i work manana (like banana). speaking of i got a coupla free bananas at work today someone brought a bunch in and just left 'em ... i swear what person in their right mind just leaves bananas.... don't they realize that a good banana can be the difference between a good day and a lousy day.
the new exorcist is out at the liberrry.. the new pre-exorcist..that i wanted to see in the theater but couldn't make peace with spending the bread on... so there's an afternoon.. although i'm a little afraid to watch it.. devily stuff gets under my skin.. not the omen so much- although on a good night that can creep me out too. i was going to say i don't scare all that easily but (TRUE STORY:) one night i was at home watching like "In Search Of...." and it was the big foot episode and when i was a kid we use to ride out bikes around the block to the dead end street next to ours which was capped with a nice woods.... anyhow as a kid i remember being afraid thinking bigfoot could be out there (i'm gonna go ahead and blame my brothers because that seems very much like something they would have told me like how if i went tooo far back on my grandparents property in ashtabula i could see buffalo....) so mind you i'm watching this -in search of bigfoot- (this was like 2 years ago) i'm at home on the rocky river compound - and i'm into it... and its dark outside and i suddenly hear footsteps on my porch and swear to god i almost wet my pants.. . but it was majda stopping over to say hi not at all a bigfoot. so i guess i scare fairly easily. eh whatever.

post easter. how was your easter everybody? mine was good. steered clear of the ham... gave away all my easter candy today. so all is well.
went to the flying v's new house on saturday.... NICCCEEEEE. really nice lots and lots of space, big yard.. did i say big, make that really really big. its a georgeous house i still of course prefer mine house but for a sprawing family like theirs it is totally awesome. kudos (to be prounounced as if you were michael york). they got the goods. i guess our mutual friend "barry" said "they win" as far as kick ass pads go.. i guess i'd agree. its too bad they opted to move so far out but being out there - i will admit there is something to be said for striking out into new territory...takes a certain kind of balls and i'm sure it'll work out wonderfully for them.
so whate else. i had to work at da berry today.. but not until after i watched several episodes of BAND OF BROTHERS.... thank you DON V. YOU KICK ASS!!!!
i'm on spring break from school so i've been up early to enjoy my afternoons off and its really been nice.. i started making this blanket.. i bought several shades of yarn and started with this great sort of vanilla color.. but i only bought 1 package of it and i'm already out and don't want to switch colors yet.. so tomorrow I MUST get another... it's like eating peanuts i can't stop working on it... it kills time and its coming out great so far. hooray for crafternoons/crafterevenings/crafterlatenights.
oh well i hope things are great with you and you are all enjoying your selves in whatever you're doing.
