END OF SUMMER-BIG FAT BUMMER (i wrote that one!)

so i'm here at the liberry and would that i had known that it was going to be such a beautiful day i would have called in sick! damn. its not too bad - a very low key day. my dear friend ron called - he use to work here and was easily one of my favorite people to work with... every night at closing he would sing in a loud full voice "ITS SHOWTIME AT THE APPOLO.................." and he would go across the street to the BP and get a 22oz beer to drink in the bathroom... they were called "sandwiches" so he'd say he's running across to get a sandwich and people who didn't know would get confused and ask "ooooh what kind of sandwiches does bp have... are they good?"

- went to lunch yesterday with buddies, it was sooo damned muggy sitting out on the restaurant patio.... but it was really nice and fun to laugh with those guys.

-- last night little baby sal was at the screen door literally nose to nose with an 'opossum - so cute but i always get excited and yell "hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii possum" and he walks away. i like them.

-- i got to hold and be photographed with a 50 or so pound burmese python! that was exhilirating...

--- school was exhilirating but for other reasons and not the good exhiliration like holding a giant snake more like the sick to your stomach kind.

-- soooooooooooooo we have a long weekend huh? that'll be nice - i'm very glad don't yet know what to do... hopefully see the girlies - and my friend sue asked me over for dinner one of these nights.

--- oh yeah and i'm having our new art teacher over (i think) one of these days..... she is painting a portrait of my house to hang in my house in case i forget what the outside looks like or something.

---i got some movies in at the libery - i haven't seen juno yet so i got that, i reordered season 1 of deadwood to go back through and enjoy. and gone baby gone - heard it was good so why not.

---i'm really hungry right now - i'll go get my banana.

---- i'm in the mood to cook something but i don't know what exactly.... like a vat of homemade chicken vegetable soup with dumplings!

===perhaps after work i'll run out to avon commons.... i've still got an old navy gift card and a bath and body works gift card so maybe there will be something nice and then i can go to heinekins and get some soup fixins.

what else....

i liked watching the airshow jets fly over downtown all week... that to is exhilirating.

i should clean my damn house today.. maybe i'll write that in my agenda.... it looks like a tornado hit it and it doesn't help that baby sal still takes my socks and leaves them all over the place. and i had to vacuum up 2 spiders yesterday and i saw one this a.m. but it was really squirrelly one of those jumpy little bastards and i couldn't catch him so when i get home the battle to find and destroy him will begin...

--- a co worker just said we should probably do our monthly reports as the new "acting/temporary" boss will be in tuesday and guess what. i'll do it when i do it.

----that said i'm gonna go check out my movies.

the kinda first day of school.... well with classes anyway. and i must say for the first day a coupla kids were kinda not very good. like if your not in the mood to do school maybe think of something else to do all day........... play boggle!

how goes it?

i'm happy its wednesday - the week is almost over. its been pretty good thus far easing back into school is a good idea.

--- i just read the kids book KoKo's Kitten and cried. i will buy a copy for ma'self.

-i've got a bit of a headache developing.

-- i've got a small piece of delicious vegetable lasagna for dinner - kicks ass

----i'm pretty proud of myself this week with the help of a friends kind wake up calls i've actually left for work on time!! sadly the clifton blvd. log jam in the a.m. had taken my usual 15-20 minute drive to a full 50 minutes... took a detroit detour today and did much better time wise.

--- i'm thinkin about seeing david byrne and brian eno at the allen theater in october

- i'm outta here in 15 minutes....

---- i'd like to kick my friend tracy's ass he just sent the homeless lady with the purple wig and full set of luggage to my desk to set up an appointment with me for tomorrow. if i'm not mistaken last time i worked with her she was trying to fill out an online contest entry but refused to put her real name, address or phone number - i tried to explain how she'd know if she won. and she kept filling in the address line with "jesusismylord" and stuff like that. yikes

--------- there is a series of books at the library - young adult books with titles such as "the day my butt went psycho" and "zombie butts from uranus" - i think its funny.

2. good to see the kids today yet a couple managed to irritate me in a short amount of time
3. my entire torso hurts - what the hell is that?
4. i'm very much looking forward to going home.
5. i wish while i was at work today someone came and cleaned my house (not likely)
6. i dunno what to eat for dinner

8. i cannot wait till friday... and to be off monday. so lavish
9. miffy will turn 2 on zeptember 5 - cool.
10. speaking of miffy- whilst over the welk/lopixx the other night she said "thea poop" which means she wanted me to take her potty and carolyn assured me she just had to pee.... yeah right- so i get her on the potty and her teeny tiny ass explodes with diarhhhrea.... i'm yelling "uhhhhhhh carolyn you're baby's butt just blew off" - on the upside of this story thank jesus she is potty trained at such a delicate age because had that happened while i was carrying her - ugghhh i choose not to think about that.
11. a co-worker here at the liberry just said "i read all the cleveland schools will have metal detectors very soon" well i hope we get one that can detect the metal bleeding out of my radio man!!
12. my a-hole boss here is will not be my boss after tomorrow! praise g. she gone! whats funny is some of the more kiss ass folk were like "we're having a farewell party" and i said can we have it after she's gone? and they were making the pot luck list... and i said - no thanks i shant be participating or maybe i'll buy her a flea collar as a going away gift. my co workers were aghast! i said she hasn't done shit for me and i'm out $400 cuz of her stupid flea debacle so she can pack her shit and go. a little bitter i guess but oh well.
13. i've got a half hour left.
14. i'm thinkin about ordering the first 2 seasons of deadwood - yes that i've already seen but during my insomnia i watched all of season 3 and damn if don't have a hankerin to see it all again.. i didn't think that would happen i figured once you spent almost 40 hours of your life watching something you would be done with it but nope.
