so thanksgiving is coming. whup di do! i was just telling a young liberry patron about how i don't like holidayz. i don't. i'd rather stay home... then force conversation with family anyday.

thanksgiving is better then xmas though.... far less time need be spent i can knock thanksgiving out in 2.5-3 hours.... at least i always have the "gotta go feed the cats" excuse - works every time and with any luck i'll have a weiner dog by then and you GOTTA go feed the dog fo'sho!

--- my presence here at the liberry on saturdays is pretty unnecessary.............. i mean i'm all for being paid to do nothing.. it's the american dream after all but ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

----- there are people here fighting over lost gloves, cheap, crappy drugstore black knit gloves.... it has escalated to using f... words and the throwing of items. seriously.

--- i just ate some hot cheese that was good.

---- the glove depate rages on the one party is mentally ill which adds an element of excitement to the scene.

----- i've got 40 minutes left - praise g.

-- i'm angsty

- i detest feeling insignificant or not even worthy of basic communication

-thursdays are stupid.

-snow is stupid-unless i get a snow day - hold hands with me now and pray for one... oh sweet jesus please please gimme a snow day tomorrow it would be very cool of you.

- i'm very glad tomorrow is friday.. even though i have to work on saturday.

- i'm irritated we got a new computer guy here at the liberry and he agreed to switch shifts with me over xmas break so i don't have to close - welp, they're reopening his branch so he's leaving and without someone to switch with - i'm f....ed and closing every night of my break- if you'll recall this happened to me with summer break.... and i'm trying hard not to get bitter.

-i guess there was a guy at the liberry downtown hitting people with a brick or somethin.. not an employee i hope but totally understandable. i would like the option of doing that.

-its suddenly freezing here.

- my co-worker is doing her evening of constant self-narration. every single thing she does is narrated. i'm clicking on attachment, i'm hittting send, ooop i got an error message, but i can forward the original right? so i got to the original do i open the original or click on it, but this isn't the one i want to forward to foreign lit....................................." and on and on. and its so constant that you don't pay attention but once in a while she'll ask a question and get pissed if you don't answer "see nobody listens to me around here!!!" and she's been here for many many years and has had a computer for a good amount of them and it still literally takes her about 45 minutes to an hour to send and email.

-i think a young person of today just told me i was "salty as f....." hmmmmm whatever.

- saw my friend michelle yesterday.... she's a peach..

-we had a potluck here today (still not sure why) and as predicted because i work later someone kindly made a plate for me. some sort of porkchoppy mess, creamy broccoli salad thing, rice and beans, chicken, some cheese and on the side 4 cookies and a slice of red velvet cake. now i just have to wait for a private moment to toss it out. there is nothing more disgusting then a potluck (some are ok i've gone to some very nice ones but some???????) you kinda look at that hodge podge of stuff you would never eat in a million year and wanna puke. lets puke.

- there is a guy walking around the library on his cell phone asking someone repeatedly "where you at"

- oh crap i have to work with walter tomorrow which means i will have to do some homework tonight for his lesson. pray with me now that walter is petrified of snow - dear sweet jesus please make it so that walter is petrified of snow and cannot come to the liberry tomorrow - that would be very cool of you. amen.

-JFK is on tv saturday. i love that movie. all the drama, all the speculation, all the theories, all the flaming homosexuals and of course all the donald sutherland.

- i've got 15 minutes left of work. right the hell on!

its snowing hard outside right now. too much to hope for a snow day? prolly. there's always that flicker of hope. although i don't know what i'm crabbin about i was off ALL WEEKEND first time since summer i had both saturday and sunday off and you know what i have to show for it????? nutthin. i did so much nothin this weekend it was almost unheard of. but i loved it. not having to rise at any certain time.. not having to be dressed and ready by whenever... planning life around work.... a delight. i had some real plans ie: go here, get that done.... but f..it. it was like being on vacation.

what else is going on? i'm waiting for barack obama to o.k. some plans to stimulate the economy by building giant ferris wheels in major cities across the united states. i want one so bad- that would be the absolute coolest.

-- i wish this snow would cause the liberry to shut down right now.

lets see what else - last i heard my dog was back i pray to sweet jesus that ms. stevens has rounded them up by now (she's off today - i thought she would have called me over the weekend to pick him up - maybe they're still to shy but at some point shyness will be over ruled by cold).... i'm ready though i think it should be relatively easy to find someone to adopt him... especially with the holidayz coming up - nothing says love like a weiner dog. so pray with me that i get him soon and we get him adopted to nice people.

--- we have a gay-ish young man at school who over the weekend went from bald-ish to having a lavish ladies style weave glued to his head. quite a statement but more powa to him for gettin his hairdo on (literally).

oh well i need to go kill time for the next 2.5 hours. lets hope it goes quickly.
