oh my god its august... oh my god ma'birfday is coming up right quick... HOORAYYYY. for hotdogs and beer.
anyhow i work tomorrow at da' berry and its my last day before my week of vacation and it will be the day they celebrate ma'birfday there... now if there is no super fudgy,very sexy cupcake for me i will quit my job. last year there was one glorious super fudgy cupcake left.. i put it in a box and on top of the refrigerator to take home for MY BIRTHDAY TREAT and someone (my boss) ate the fucking thing... and i don't think she can reach on top of the fridge so i just picture her batting at the box with a broom handle or something... anyhow i'm praying for one this year.
--also in library news i had an all fucking day "training" on the stuff they hired all of us for already knowing.. you figure it out. anyhow alll day in a computer room reviewing the most basic stuff and for me all of this while sitting in front of a jack-ass know it all (or so i assume she thought) with the elmer fudd speech impediment(say "library" or "computer" with that elmer fudd voice a coupla hundred times and see what i was going through).... let you mind wander on that one..... sure i started out saying "shut up" in my head hundreds of times but after like hour 4 it became muttering under my breath and by the end i was hanging backwards over my chair and giving her the "you are fucking killing me shut up!!!" look. awful awful awful. if i had to work daily with that person i've gone out the window long ago. yikes.
anyhow with that over i'm looking forward to my weekend and birthday stuff and the week off after that.
hey how 'bout that fire on my street last night... i woke up at 2:30 and called the fire department they answered and i said "hey is there a fire somewhere around here?" and the guy said "yes on _____________ street the fire trucks are on their way if not there already." and i said "is it my house?" he kindly said " i don't think so but go on and take a look!!" funny anyhow it stunk up the evening.... but i'd definitely take burning building over skunk on a sticky hot night.
so what is up with everyone out there? glad the weather broke? i am and i will take credit for the break in the heat because it had to happen the day after i caved in and bought a window airconditioner. i'll help you all out in the winter if i can... if we hit a stretch of like 30 below zero i'll got get a nice space heater and the weather should warm up right away. oh well the cats needed it... they were laying around all wilted i felt terrible... i tried to put ice cubes or damp cloths on their foreheads but they didn't so much dig it.

i'll be praying once again that you summer is even close to being as fan-fucking-tastic as mine is... so get out there and enjoy ya damned selves.
and forgodsake this weekend ENJOY YOUR CAKE and make it birthday cake in my honor o.k.?
