what is today... ah yes friday.
eventless kind of but i remain in good spirits for whatever odd reason. the welk and i did a little bit of holiday out and about-ing that was fun, i wrapped more gifts, spoke to an old friend and made arrangements for lunch- fun, had a RINGER dinner, had many many oranges, watched THE FRENCH CONNECTION - there's some pinchy commentary by Gene Hackman early in the movie... ouch. and tomorrow i will be out and about hopefully totally finishing my holiday preparations- joy!! at my favorite of malls the Beachwood mall. other then that i'm hoping for a relaxing, weekend. i am still experiencing a bit of post-op pain maybe due to driving, maybe due to shopping for extended periods, maybe due to nothing in particular but i wish it would subside soon, i've grown bored of it. eh. enjoy your day.. i'll see you later.

wednesday/thursday
when we log on to the blogs or "blog on" it says in writing, and i can only imagine christopher walken saying it ..."here are your blogs".
anyhoo went to a holiday party today at work it was lovely nice to see my work crew again, nice selection of deli meats, nice gifts and a wine called Fat Bastard.
did a little more shopping got some good stuff for the welk. but came home totally exhausted.
tomorrow perhaps a tinge more shopping - maybe - maybe not.
friday - i will attempt to see Gangs of New York in the afternoon provided its not really busy- like i don't imagine a Star Wars styled line but i don't imagine myself in the theater with 3 people like at The Grey Zone> we shall see.... the movie promises violence in a historical context which i love especially at the holidays (quick holiday memory - my friend maj and i saw The Godfather III at the theater on Christmas Day - i think this happened i may have dreamt it).
Saturday i have community service volunteer work to do with my students for an extended period of the day should be fun though i'm actually kind of looking forward to it.
Sunday - who cares it's too far away to worry about - although i think my parents want to come over or something so that'll kill the day! but what ever.
then we are getting dangerously close to christmas. i think i can sum up christmas this year in one word:
KIELBASA!

i lost sunday's blog due to technical blogger difficulties - i wonder where it is?
i got quite a bit of holiday stuff done today!!
i also put on regular slaxxx today for the first time post-op and they fit wonderfully a little loose even!!
i'm feeling a bit more in the holiday spirit maybe it 's the hitler care package my brother sent me!! including the movie (reviewed on this very websit!!!) Conspiracy and a Hitler biography that features a picture of Hitler when he was perhaps a little less certain of himself and didn't have his patented trade mark moustache!! so that is nice.
i also am cooking up some more beets for a snack later.
