happy monday everyone! yeah i hate em.
had a lot to do this a.m. but somehow without the children there it was kind of nice. much to do tomorrow and the rest of the week. then a little bit of freedom will come my way. i am happy.
had a good weekend... a darn good weekend. graduation friday was really great and kudos to the teachers at my school who write the best speeches - really good stuff. big ups. so that went well and nice although afterward a small group of us went to great lakes brewing co. we wanted to sit outside they said there was a weather issue or what not so they sat us upstairs in a room that had all the ambiance of a empty funeral parlor.. with bad oldies playing softly in the background. plus it was waaaay tooooo airconditioned for me... i don't like air conditioning so much so i was frozen. of course when we left the patio was full.. so obviously the weather condition must have cleared up as we were seated... so that kinda put a damper on it. i spoke to my dog ssk when i got home and she was like "damn why didn't we just stop on the west side for a drink after brewing co. " but its probably because we're f...ing exhausted.
--saturday i went over the welk/pixxs for the weekend cookout. always nice. always awesome. we took a walk to the lake which was beautiful.
-sunday had a nice brunch out which is odd because i rarely eat breakfast at all... so it was a nice change of pace - plus damnitt! i love eggs.
- i may be meeting ma'dog sue out again on wed. she and her hubby go up to a bar near my house on wed. just for an hour or so but it'll be nice to hang a while.
other then that.. i'm starvin like marvin right now. i do have a banana in my bag but i'll save it for manana (like banana.)
-i gotta give a co-worker a ride downtown this evening.... she's got a bum leg and needs to grab a cab. i would just drive her home but she doesn't want me to and i'm not too pumped up about an evening field trip to the ghetto.
- not to sound like too much of a candy ass.. but there are days when i think that working till 8 is a blessing.... case and point.. last thursday on my way home it was raining i stopped at heinens and when i came out there was a perfectly clear double rainbow against a dark blue sky.... so georgeous i was so happy. also there are many nights i'm going home and see some remarkable sunsets and better yet motorcycle trick riders. my point even the shitty aspects of life often have a silver lining. i am a candy ass. please don't kick it.
