hi.
i am still sick. it sucks and i hate it. i feel like there is a truck parked on my chest, it hurts to breathe but not breathing ='s death if i'm not mistaken. this is my kunundrum.
open house went well and was actually really nice. i won't go sappy on you but sometimes i feel like i'm good at my job and that i connect with said teenagers and families.
i had soup for dinner for the 4th night in a row. not helping.
the godfather III was on tonight... boy did that movie suck although early in the movie joe mantagna's characters says something like "if a man would say these things he is not a man he is a dog" and its so poorly done that it makes me love it even more. big ups to whom ever on the movie decided to drop ENZO'S name in the third installment.. as we all know ENZO was easily the greatest character in the movie and frank panatngeli for different reasons of course.

long time no blog.
i am stuck with some cold/flu thing that is kicking my ass daily and hard. but i feel like it's going away or that it has the potential to go away.
other then that not much is goin on. work is work. tomorrow is open house where we meet parents and get to put the puzzle together...."ohh so that's why johnny is the way he is." classic open house memories, the drunk dad hitting on everyone - the mom who showed up a day early and lets not forget the crying drunk mom or the super obese mom who barely made it to the top of the stairs and then proceeded to sit down by the bake sale table and eat and eat i truly don't think she visited any classrooms.... its fun. my boss and i have this game- because we can never remember who the parent is when they come in so we barrage them with round about questions to see who can get their identity first... its fun it could be better if the staff played a few drinking games just before it begins but we'll put in a proposal for next year.
sadly i will have to leave open house a little early because i have to shoot my cat at 5:00 (not really shoot him he gets his insulin).
other then that i've been taking cold medication, crocheting a scarf, and my feet are freezing, i can't taste anything and i see L&O CI is on tonight in place of the westwing and i'm thrown off totally -i keep saying "what day is it" - WHAT DAY IS IT?
