hello...i am.. space...baby...fea.... Posted by Hello
wednesday.
today was a day. one of those days that i think for the most part was void of everything.. nothing memorable.. you know you woke up and went to work and are at home later but what happened in between? such a non-day that i left messages for people as if it were yesterday or tomorrow. where'd wednesday go? gimme ma'wednesday back.
so tomorrow is CAREER DAY at school - a day for the youth of today to hear about various jobs etc. and hopefully decide at some point it may be a good idea to pull their heads out of their asses and move into reality. just an idea or they could continue abusing prescription drugs forever.. its a personal choice. it would be easier to plan such an event if i knew what i wanted to be when i grow up!!! i think i might like to be a SPACE ROBOT.. there you have it. speaking of .. man i friggin loved the show lost in space.....LOVED IT.. i have such fond memories of being in like 6 grade or so and rushing home from school to watch it i think it was on channel 43 at 4:00 - we just got several volumes of it on DVD at the liberry... i really should make a weekend of it.. does anyone remember anti-matter world. great stuff.
anyhow shout outs to all this years participants in the G. high career day! takes balls and we appreciate it.
so yesterday i went to an all day seminar thing for the liberry out at the hilton garden hotel in twinsburg... lovely. it was long. we heard connie deiken talk about something but i can't remember now what it was.. maybe because she used the word "baby" to punctuate almost everything and at some point i blanked on the subject matter to focus on how annoying it was to here her say...."baby". then there was a speaker in the afternoon part talking about dealing with the mentally ill and i will hand out a solid KUDOS (god bless michael york where ever he is) to our speaker she was really good and interesting.
oh hey there was a high point to today.. i went shopping with carolyn (CAROLYN!!!) and una... fun at one point una decided she didn't care to be seated in the cart any more so i was like "hey can i take her out and carry her around" - carolyn said sure and whilst it was waaaaaay more fun and entertaining to dance around with her and give her stuff off the shelves to play with (like jars of vitamins to shake like meroccas)... i'm still waiting for the muscle spasms in my arm to relax.. but i had a blast.... she's fun and funny and like me finds pleasure in twirling around the store (much to carolyns chagrin).
alrighty then... i'm gonna go see how i can become a SPACE ROBOT! and if there are any grants i can apply for. maybe i'll consult with DVVP.
okey dokey onward to thursday.
bye
get you some cake.

best think about a bruce springsteen concert?... when it's not in your city. Posted by Hello
monday.
what a tiring weekend.
una now 1 - swiftly on her way to 2.
the party was good despite torrential downpours... what are you gonna do? you live right?
then sunday i had to work at the bar for the indians game and the springsteen thing at CSU. first of all i made good money. that said - i pray never to have to bear witness to springsteen fans again.. i've told you the stories before ---- thankfully the dude who acted out motorcycle revving during thunder road was not in. however there were a huge glut of 40+ moms with their flippy hairdoooos circa 7 years ago lip synching and raising their WINE GLASSES at the home of the gigantic sandwiches... WINE GLASSES.... woaaah ladies you're rocking tooo hard. so at one point a dude (i use the term dude both loosely and facetiously - no offense to ma'actual dudes - in this instance i mean dude as fag) comes over and says "any chance we could get some bruce playin in here?" and i replied "dear god i hope not" but i had to turn on the jukebox... i put a bunch of money in then toyed with the patrons.... 2 springsteen songs a little ac/dc ...... glory days... a little -runnin with the devil by van halen.... born in the u.s.a.... heaven and hot rods. that tripped em up a little. and i think the majority of us employees were asked by at least 1 person ... "how can you not think the boss is the greatest musical genius of all time" - i know i said "easily". however i think cory might have said somthing to the effect of "i fuckin hate him, go drink your miller lite". it was a scene. and i woke up with fucking "glory days" in my head...
i worked today my dear friend came to the liberry to see me that was awesome - high point of ma'day...i gave him a ride home.. got to see where he lived - low point of ma'day. what are you gonna do... you live right?
okey dokey
so tomorrow i have an all day liberry affair at the hilton garden hotel in twinsburg.... lets see continental breakfast.. opening speaker... free lunch.. sign in for afternoon session... fake sever diaaaaahrrrreaaaah and go the hell home!!!! yessssssssssssss.
on that note i will leave you for today.
i remain
thea.
ma friend pam had a great line about springsteen songs she said "isn't there a song about a freight train running through the middle of my head.. yea thats what its like"
kudos (to be said Q-dos - thank you michael york)
