another year 0 down another year 0 to come

tuesday december 30, almost the end of the year 0 and the beginning of the new year 0.

so i'm here at the liberry.... for a looooong shift. it sucks. you spend the first few hours doing stuff till the next roun of people come in at 12:30 then the next time marker is the first part time persons departure at 1:30 then the countdown till 4:00 starts. either way it drags ass. and without the cute dudes from the rehab coming in it sucks. i need me some eye candy... or some regular candy would be fine too.

so new years eve huh? big f..in' deal right? what are you doing? the welk/lopixx want chinese food but the good chinese place by my house changed ownership and now its shitty. i don't know another chinese place nearby that doesn't either suck or have questionable proteins. and i'm not a fan of chinese food to begin with... me i prefer a mexican new years eve........ we'll see. the great part is i'm off for 5 mutha..f..in days people! excellent. we'll lets hope i'm actually off for those days... as i mentioned before my boss here inadvertantly gave me an extra vacation day and who am i to correct her so i'm takin it buuuut i did look at the schedule and noticed there are only 3 people here all day on saturday, 2 desk people and 1 floor person.. that really cannot be. there should be 2 of each at least most of the day so i feel a little bad.... but not really bad enough to say anything. we'll see i'm sure she'll catch it - but i hope not.

---i've pawned off several mental defectives on the new guy - i consider it a hazing process and punishment for - on day 1 working here - throwing items that belong to me in the garbage! yeah... what the f...? took toys that i keep in MY desk drawer (of 4 years) and threw them away.... not asking first just chucked my stuff. there will be a penalty. and that penalty's name is katherine whimberly. she is an elderly, obese, crazy person who loves to have a crush on younger men at the liberry and she is also fond of rubbing alot of lotion on her gi-normous legs and upper thighs in public and wears lipstick pretty much in a 1 inch radius from her actual lips. sorry charlie but enjoy teaching her to use the computer.

- what can i do here today? i guess look at some magazines... or shit i don't know - 4 hours and 50 minutes to go. shoot me please

holiday rundown

1. christmas eve - did the holiday sickness fake out to avoid going to my parents house. did i feel bad? for approximately 4 minutes.. that dissipated and i stayed home, drank some beers had heinens chicken and dumplings and watched ROME! it was wonderful.

2. christmas day i steeled myself to attend a family gathering. it was fine. good food. mostly good people and it was over in about 3 hours... fairly painless.

items i got for xmas:

- something akin to the "snuggie" its kind of a blanket that zips and like all 80 year olds you wear it around the house while putting on your life alert and dialing your jitterbug phone.

- some $$$$$$$$$$ always good

- a flat tire repair kit - always practical

- more $$$$$$$$$$$$

- a pomegranate

- some candles

- stuff

- ROME seasons I and II

- jim gaffigan beyond the pale

- stuff from the girls

- various food stuffs ie: candy, cookies et al.

and then it was over hooray!

- the welk and i went and got our hairdid on saturday then did some post xmas shopping.... i don't like the steel yard commons. to urban contemporary for me.... i've said this before i know.

now i'm into another holiday week here at the liberry and again my schedule is fairly f.....ed up. given an extra vacation day where i didn't ask for one but would kind of like to fudge it and take the xtra day off. i suppose i should talk to my boss about it but then i might have to work friday........... damned if i do and damned if i don't .

- oh well pray the day goes fast. as of now i've got 3 hours left
