wednesday.
hi.
today was pretty ---- um... neither here nor there... i didn't do much - cleaned the house, made a card for a friend -MARILYN (card courtesy of baby fea & franny productions), rapped with hero/landlord p.b., watched pbs - the wives of henry the 8th, and WENT FOR A NICE NIGHT TIME LAVISH WALK - i saw a bat flying around (did i name him.. of course - he is "flappy" from Morewood parkway) it was a nice walk - i looked at stuff and smelled flowers that were soooo intoxicating you'd think the homeowner payed to have his yard perfumed - AMAZING. so that was all nice. tomorrow i have to go to get an e-check on my car... i've put it off almost too close for my taste but oh well... it's a yearly chore - i suppose its best to just deal with it.

sunday night,
hi just in time.
i worked today and yesterday and found myself giddy about being at home. i've worked every other day this week. boo hiss. i'm tired of humanity.
i rented the movie MAX tonight. it is about early hitler as an artist. it starred john cusack and he's always really good, the move was great. better then i expected. speaking of movies i'm still thinking about the movie LOVE LIZA that i spoke of in an earlier blog. i got a cd by jim o'rourke who did the soundtrack and i love it. how about that i bought music that was made post 1979. hooray.
after work yesterday i went over the sinner/carolyn (CAROLYN)'s with dan and maj (the V's) to pay tribute and homage to sam. up until that evening i had said oh about 1000 times how i don't want kids....but for about 30 minutes i was totally on board. dan and maj's daughter nola is afraid of sirens and when she heard on in the distance she came over to me and said "safe me" and i said that i didn't know what to do to help.... and she said "you arms" and she crawled into my lap and i hugged her till they went away. man oh man do i love those kids. (ps: i'm over the maternal moment) but that was truly one of the best / greatest moments of my year. for that moment i thought - if this is what it's like - i'm in.
anyhoo......
i'll speak of this and more tomorrow on everybody's favorite monday morning college radio talk show, i'll bring the coffee you bring the danish.
