i'm getting some form of cold or flu (never knew which was which).

--- i do not have really wacked out dreams - pretty standard stuff usually. well last night i must have accidentally taken crack before bed.... i had this dream i won't bore you with the whole thing but in the dream my cats baby sal and nova were with me on a walking tour of a mansion and at one point in the dream i looked across this little xmasy living room and baby sal had on a santa hat and a little white beard. (it gets better) so i'm like "look how cute baby sal is" and he stands up on hind legs and begins using a little digital camera. (weirder still) someone at work today asked, when i told this dream.... "what was he taking pictures of?" and i said come to think of it - a doll house.

what the fffffffffffffffffffffffffffff does that all mean. i understand the work dreams of late where pr people demolish my desk and set me up with a tv tray with a phone on it in some basement. or the one where i leave to go to work and the whole outside of my house is covered with snakes. i get that - work angst. but what is it with my cat wearing a little beard and hat? he did look cute though.

thank goodness this week is nearly over.

i think i'm getting some form of sickness. sore throat general malaise- oh yippie.

i'm supposed to be helping some dude named lamont here today - he wants to sell his car on craigs list - i don't know a thing about doing that......... so i will fake it.

--- i was a half hour late for work today............... my friend calls me in the a.m. to make sure i'm up and even with the phone just inches from my head i didn't hear it at all and went right on sleepin! - sucked.

--------we have weirdo security guy here today.... dude is a f...ing freak. and he's marginally food obsessed......... can't explain it.........like tamiko had some chicken she purchased for her lunch and he sat and stared at it and said "are you gonna eat that?" and she said "uh i bought it didn't i?" then when she wrapped up what was left to take home he said "now can i have that?" --- and today he stopped some kid who was eating candy and he's like "you can't eat in here ... can i have some of that candy?" bizzzarro gives me the creeps.

crappy new year everyone! welcome to the new year 0! hoooray! or whatever.

so i ended my year 0 over the welk/pixxxxx compound........ ordered chinese foood which i'm not particularly fond of in general but it was ok with the exception of the hot & sour soup which had an odor that rendered it inedible. c'est la vie i suppose and with chinese food its easy to get a notion (ie: cat) in your head and thats it... dinner over. my regular chinese place got taken over or sold and it currrently SUCKS so we tried a new place its good but not like HO WOOD on what is it detroit ave. that place rules. but new years eve was ok and pretty eh whatever. stayed there till only like 7:30-8:00..... sam was sick (read no beers), carolyn was having to bathe the girls (read no beers) and the girls are 4 and 2 read (no beers) plus - not having children i get very overwhelmed when they begin to lose their minds towards evening. i'm like "hey go get my coat i gotta go the cats are hungry!"

-- so back to work today after a really nice 5 days off both jobs... how wonderful. a little angsty going back this a.m. - couldn't sleep up at 1, 4, and then for good at 5:30.......... mind racing.

and now the day is almost over............. i've got an hour and a half left of work. then i can go turn on the electric blanket and kiss today good bye.

--- oh hey i saw valkyrie the other day............... pretty good (despite tom cruise) i actually got teary at the end......... geez whats my problem? i'm pretty stoked though because evidentily the holidaze is a time for nazi movies....... so i still want to see "the reader" and "defiance" (although it looks a little like a made for tv thing... just has that look kinda) and a new viggo mortenson movie release date unknown called "good" so look how wonderful. a nazi exravaganza!

--- i'm starvin like marvin. i have a hardboiled egg white in my bag till i get home.............thank g that 1.) giant eagle had bags of chicken breasts on sale and 2.) carolyns mom blessed me with a giant eagle gift card for xmas- the gift of chicken is a wonderful thing.
