so people welcome me back to work... i have been "locked out" of my job here at the berry since july 2! those fuckers insisted we (employees) have our private homes checked for fleas...... here are the highlites:

1. branch was checked after allegation and exterminator said "uh there are no fleas here?"

2. despite that fact we were still told we could not return to work until we complied ? (say what???? ) - oh yeah and they're not paying us for those days.. (to be fought)

3. liberry folk kept saying "its a public health and safety" issue yet the branch remained opened and was staffed with subs (what about their health and safety).

4. if it were an issue of public health and safety woops they forgot to call the board of health (which would have been necessary if it were an issue - dumb fuckers)

5. the union is going to fight the shit out of this.

6. i was instructed by the union to go in last thursday to sign and fill in my time card and in the days i was "locked out" to write "locked out" on the variations blank. welp i went in to find my bitch of a boss "already filled it in for me... and wrote "docked" in the variations column" and sent it without my signature.... (big mistake)

7. i had to write a report about all this nonsense... in it i of course reiterated several times that i have never had fleas, or been bitten by fleas at home or at work..... luckily the union rep got it just before my bitch of a boss at a meeting stated "thea said she had flea bites too" (bullshit)

8. i held out the second longest of the staff... i had to cave today because i am on vacation next week and i don't want them to say "well you haven't gotten your clearance yet so you're technically out of work - no vacation pay for you!" would they do that? can they do that? i don't know but i don't doubt they'd try.

10. this story could go on and on and gets more and more outrageous every second.

sooooooooooooooooooooo that being said i had some nice days off... but it was still stressful in my head ya know. anyone know a lawyer who would like to advise me on this shit that would be nice.

anyhoo how've you all been?

aside from that crummey weather last week its been pretty summery and good. i got to the pool a coupla times. i'm sucked into these horrible teen fiction books... a series... i had to read the first one for a teen book discussion at the liberry and now i need to finish it. and trust - they are awful but good does that makes sense?

oh well i gots ta go the end of my day is here! praise g for small mercies.
