this was a beautiful day.. don't you agree... i mean the weather was fantastic.. one of those days that make you think something good is coming.. just grand.
so today ended our first week back at school and what a group of new kids we have ... lets just say 300 lbs., thumbsucking, drug-use bragging, clueless. odd group and should make for a wild 178 days but whos counting.
spoke to ma' bro in alabama he's great.
hung out with carolyn and una our usual friday night thing... the uns is awesooooome.. and sooo fun and fabulous.
and now i simply look forward to a full 3 day weekend off....... so sweet.
i went out with ma' dogs from panini's last night flashdavid, amanda, dannyf, and chinnuts... great to see them - i think i will be back to the bar sched. for the browns game 9/11 and then on for some cavs games so i can score tickets from dumpy and have some fun.... it'll be good. taking indians season off has done me a world of good mental health speaking. so amen. those cats are all doing great and i had a fun time.. i will do a shameless plug here.... RIVERWOOD CAFE ON DETROIT AVE. THE BEST FUCKING TACOS EVER.... i shouldn't have eaten them (as i'm on a rigid maintainence diet) but soooo worth it.

blahhh... boooo hissssssssssssssssss.
tomorrow start school... booooo hisssssssssssssssssss.
but tonight we (the school staff) were treated to a lavish bbq at one of our fellow staff members new fucking lavish crib. she lives on edgewater nearer to the highway but what a friggin house.. big ... with an upstairs patio that looks out toward the lake and of course l.segal has an impeccable decorating flair and alot of really cool interesting antiques.. so while the house is totally opulant you still feel like you could curl up on a sofa and just hang out. sooo nice and what a friggin spread.. she and new husband tom made enough food for like 40 guests all super gourmet stuff. so it was really really nice and so great to hang with everyone in a low key atmosphere before everything gets amped to super HIGH KEY.
ps: i say if anyone of you out there has an english degree and would like to spend 2 hrs. a day trying to teach the "at risk teen" population.. we are hard pressed for a part time english teacher (current english teacher went part time to spend time with kids) so its from 1-3 (easy) and its i think like $25 an hour not too bad for just 2 hrs. a day... think about it and pass the word. email me at either iamthea@copper.net or the new address of iamthea@gmail.com
so i watched what i could stomach of th mtv video music awards tonight... tooooooo rapcentric they should pass out a translation book cuz i have no idea what anyone was saying.. not a clue. but i learned to punctuate sentances by saying "yeeeah". anyhow puffcombs (favorite cereal) p.diddy,diddy the host at one point had a shirt that said NEW NEGRO on it.... thus validating my preference for the word NEGRO - poo pooed by many when i said it but look out NEGRO back in full effect. righteous.

hey woaaaah its already sat/sunday the what 28th maybe ...honestly i don't know.
i've been having a great week since i last checked in... alot of work but its been really good.... (weird) and we had our first staff meeting for school... on friday --- it was awesome to see ma'dogs after the summer... and funny that suzanne musta been slap happy or sleep deprived or burned out but upon describing a new student she burst out into a total case of the giggles.... sorry for the one new person at the table who doesn't quite know how demented and cynical we can be but ..... there you have it. monday starts the progressive re-entry of students.. should be fun.
**** hey fun liberry news.. we were on 19 news the other night... thursday i think... it was around 5 or so when lucillle was like ... theres a cop crouching by my car with binoculars... whats up.... and then we noticed at least 4 or so police cars parked scattered around the 'berry. anyhooooo evidentally somebody (thank god) "dropped the dime" on the guy who shot the lady at the mcdonalds on broadway and he was running around our property... funny thing.. there are seriously 20 cops after this guy and he's running through our l0t and our security guards (SHOUT OUTS TO DUB, AND JOHN AVERY) who walked out and said "hey man you betta stop runnin and get down" and he did and with a shotgun to his head was taken away. heres my burning question.. so your a dude and you just shot someone at mcdonalds ----- how are you just out walking in the neighborhood perhchance meeting with friends gettin a bite to eat.. whatever.. . WHERE IS YOUR CONCIENCE ASSHOLE? soooo strange to me that a person can function after this and be cool. SOCIETY IS A SHIT HOLE.
