friday / saturday
today sucked. i'm not in a mentally healthy state of mind to begin with, and my day didn't get much better ALL DAY until 6:00 p.m. i had dinner with maj and the kids which perked me up a bit. i'm very irritated and aggitated right now about lets see.. EVERY SINGLE THING I SEE, DO, THINK ABOUT, PASS ON THE STREET, ENCOUNTER, EAT, DRINK, TOUCH, DRIVE PAST, HEAR....... so with that i'm going to bed.
g'night.

tuesday.
hi
i had a lovely day. i hung out at the pool with my friend michele. very good conversation... it's odd - i don't see her that often but i find it very easy to (yes, i know you're not going to believe this)- GET HEAVY. we got heavy we discussed things of an emotional nature... we connected on several topics and issues. i gotta tell you for whatever odd reason i am very at ease with her... maybe it is because we are really good friends who don't see each other much there isn't much of a level of expectation there.. we just like each other alot, there's no dependence for anything or role that either of us feels like we are supposed to be with the other... awww fuck i don't know but i felt relieved to be able to say some of the things and to get things out that i think are obvious to most people but remain pretty double top secret and vaulted. so that was like a day at the pool with therapy to boot.
then i had to go to work at the bar. funny thing... on my way downtown - the radio was talking about the horrible weather and i literally said out loud to myself "i hope every single person at the game is hit by lightning" - that's not nice at all. as it turned out there was a brief delay (a.k.a. an opportunity to milk another bit of $$ out of people reluctant to get stuck in the rain). and i got to blow out of there early. so all in all it was actuallly fine. and no one got hit by lightning at all.
the end.

ps: hello and big ups to mike n. a friend from a past life who i ran into on the corner of 9th and prospect.

monday monday.... so good to me.
hi.
it is rare to blog on monday. but with listener don's visit fresh in my mind i must do it now. THANKS AND BIGGEST UPS TO LISTENER DON V. - HE'S DOING IT RIGHT. this is a good guy. a genuine all around good guy. god bless don and thanks for sharing your monday a.m. with us.
hey how bout that weather today. more so how bout the news channel (5) who cut into my entire soap opera - general hospital to tell me "hey it's raining out there." does it really take an hour to say ... it's raining if theres a tornado take cover. for FUCKS SAKE- literally an hour of figuring different ways of saying it might rain in your neighborhood. could this be the first time in history that there has been rain? heavy down pours? power outages? seems to me as a kid when the shit was hitting the fan you kinda knew what to do and what was coming. as we don't live in the carolinas or on a fault line or wherever it is that tsunamis hit.... i'm sure we'dve been fucking fine. so annoying.
on an up note there was a quality 2 hours of WWII progamming afforded to us by PBS. that was good. plus a guest appearance at the compound door by BIG ORANGE our neighbor cat. i think this is a new nightly thing... i'm trying to get the girls pumped up in a positive way and not pumped up throwing karate kicks everywhere.
oh well its only monday.
later gators,

i have to work tues. night... dear sweet g. get me out early-ish... no rain delays or hour long precursors to rain. if it should storm... as klaus kinski said "so be it"
