wednesday
a poem about staff meeting so i don't have to write too much:
i'm staring at you
actually your fur coat
financial crisis?

it was something. quite something.
question: does everyone have that tv that you have to pound on every so often... it seems so -my parents- yet i'm up here in the sweat lodge pounding on the tv.. somebody bring me the tin foil and some coat hangers i'll rig this thing so help me god.. that sounds more parental.
thought: i just heard a commercial for impotence medicine and they say that should the errection last more then 4 hrs. call your doctor. not being a man i cannot imagine what that might be like but i would guess rather uncomfortable, but would make for great water cooler talk at work.
laugh: i heard that "real men of genius" beer commercial this a.m. --- the one "we salute you mister multi-color sweater wearer" that is easily one of the best radio commercials ever. have you heard it?
the usual: my cat is downstairs doing her negro spiritual over toys. she's consistent if nothing else.
in a nutshell: today has come and gone and all in 24 hours.
see you later - i gotta go bang on the tv.
thea
seinfeld: george costanza just said "i love a good nap, sometimes its the only thing getting me out of bed in the morning" i feel you dog!

tuesday
hey ho hey ho
i just watched a little of NBJ on MTV (that would be the "nuttin but Jaquese" show!!) because although tonights episode was dedicated to the trials and tribulations of lunkhead, his girlfriend, his idiocy, his avid dedication to moronism, his justifications for behaving like a 12 year old- despite all this i solely heard and paid attention to jaquese.
it was funny and good. i've been laughing alot lately, things seemed funnier today (or maybe i've lost my mind) but i do love to laugh (read : at others foibles and earnestness) example that i've been looking foreward to most especially, tomorrows staff meeting... big amounts of stressful awful things are going on at work - the kinds of things that make people cry and get ulcers... well the big cheese is coming to our office to "address the troops" and whilst i've gotten the nutshell version of this meeting in its first run... where in people were asking very harsh and pointed questions regarding the racial composition of the board of trustees ect.. i imagine a lot of standing up, raised voices, folded arms, and some gestures.... now that it's coming to us.. (and this is exactly why i love the people i work with) we are more focused on which of us can sneak some of our fun inside joke buzz words into the discussion.. (ie: commode) we're laughing and wagering.. (last honcho visit i tossed out "super thank you" - i am the champion thus far)...anyway what i 'm getting at is THIS SHOULD NOT BE A FUNNY EVENT.. and yet i'm-a-laughin. thankfully we just can't bust out whole baskets of earnestness - none of us. there will be buzz words dropped, there will be bug eyes made across tables, there will be code gestures with kleenex, there may be cookies and it's gonna be entertaining.
big picture end of blog: KEEP IT UP WORLD - I AM TERRIBLY AMUSED AND I THANK YOU - THANK YOU!
good night world, rest up you got alot of entertaining to do tomorrow,
