so i worked today at the liberry. all day. it was fine.. slow.. got stuff done - day went fast. watched HOTEL RWANDA - grim baby grim... blacks tried to give hitler a run for his money. also rented THE STATION AGENT but one has to be in a midget frame of mind.. maybe tomorrow. i got something else but i don't remember right now.
this whole birthday party for my mother on the 7th is crushing my spirit.... i wasn't even supposed to know about the party because in effect it is my birthday too.. but one brother blew the suprise and the other took it as a chance to push off all gift/decoration/party plans on me his quote was "i'll just drive to the restaurant from detroit and i'll be carrying cash.. get whatever and i'll pay you then" great. thanks. love it. i'm having trouble manufacturing emotion and sentiment thank god carolyn was with me for part of the gift.....

ps: all this cake talk. i finally weighed ma'self.. after literally at least 6+ months of putting the scale in exile. i'm at a weight i'm happy with ...about 35lbs less then my heaviest.. - i think post broken leg/surgery etc....... so thats good. i guess.
