so today i had a liberry meeting out at the lakeshore building... i wasn't really pleased but kinda was digging the overtime... anyhow meeting starts at 2 should've been over by 3:30 if not for "joe..i've been here longer then anyone" and his interjections of proufound stupidity - but stated with authority and the 2 hispanic ladies who i've encounted before at a workshop where the speaker was really phenomenal and was discussing dealing with patrons with mental illness and these two never ceased to make every situation about their personal lives ie: --- raised hand from back table what did you want to ask?.... "ummmm yeaaaah like my cousin he's like 14 and like sometimes he's really hard to deal wit.. and like sometimes he doesn't want to do what we tell him... how do i deal wit dat?" any they were there and so this general...overview type meeting addressing superficial goals and what not turns into " uhhhmmm yea so like at my branch sometimes i feel like the circ desk people is mad at me cuz i have to use a computer to take care of somebody and theys like "frowning upon dat" " (the internal quotation marks were to represent the quotation mark/w.117th gesture about - frowned upon-) and this went on and on and on and it was easy to see they wanted to rat out someone at their branch and i kept passing notes to the girl next to me saying...... "just say who it is.... give us a name so we can all go home" - that said, i found it in horrifically bad taste to go to a meeting lead by your bosses higher up and piss about stuff that is pretty insignificant but could rain a shit storm on somebody... FIGHT THE ESTABLISHMENT.. not really but just don't be a douche bag i guess.
other then that....
the temp went down today and when i spoke to the welk i was wearing - heavy sweater and socks and the pixxx yelled from the background... that's cuz you don't have any meat on you anymore.... not true - i have meat and a whole lotta soul.
speaking of pixx... should i acquire a new kitten (girl- as not to piss jack off) what shall i call her:
pixxi- after the pix
samantha- after the pix - sam
salli - after the pix - salvatore?????????????????????????????????
think about it.
juliette is nice toooo.
later gators.. i had no cake today but an odd fortune cookie that had something to do with bad feelings.. something like "bad feelings only exist as long as you dwell on them" or something not very oriental in my estimation..... not very fortune cookie like - whatever happened to "you will have good luck today"
