monday 2005+3
happy monday everyone. when i left the radio station this a.m. my mantra was how am i going to get through work today? the answer: easily. work went by really quickly with few annoyances mostly related to the new "more efficieng" computer system we have. efficient my ass. but it worked out fine. although i must say i'm still feeling a little under the weather.. there were moments during the day when i thought i might faint and had to sit down... and there were liberry patrons who kindly asked why i was shaking so much and if i needed a piece of candy...very kind. but it passed eventually and i'm feeling much better.
other then that it was a really good day. the liberry has the potential for alot of fun... and once you can influence the people you work with into your way of thinking.... ie: "dude its all performance art... and that is what makes it fun..." it really can kick the ass. the irony of the performance art aspect is when like your bosses higher ups call and i answer the phone with a truly over the top "HAPPY NEW YEAR!! X LIBRARY HOW CAN I HELP YOU TODAY?" and they're genuinely impressed and pumped.. and tell your boss how awesome you are... it just becomes all the more hilarious.
eh what are you going to do... gotta work might as well have fun.
i perused the tv guide >>> lets see.. oh yea theres shit on tv. couples fear factor? really? "honey c'mon now eat that plate of shit and buffalo balls... c'mon baby that's it" CAN THIS BE "REALITY" in my REALITY i'm rarely forced to jump off buildings or eat feces...so how real are we talking here.
so i'm about to watch Conspiracy a good ole nazi film to warm my heart on a rainy monday night.
i hope your lives are excellent today and i'll be thinking of you.
c'mon cavs gotta make it happen.
