hey
i've got like 3 minutes before today turns into tomorrow -- lets blog it up.
things are going well - physically i've been a bit under the weather - I BLAME AIR CONDITIONING.. i know the heavy set need it to function at the work place but jesus does it really need to be 40 degrees? really?
other then that work is going better then i had imagined.... i think i was spending alot of time being bitter about other job and being screwed by fucking loser dickish thieves and not really allowing for this job to be rewarding... it was easier to say " uhhh i had to get this job... i guess it's o.k." but really and i know this is sickening to hear (especially for the people with whom i mock others most) but it is important to me to help people ... aspects of my job like all jobs stink.. but when someone is GENUINELY thankful for me taking time to sit with them and do something... that is pretty great.... ( i feel like a real nancy....) but its true and i totally respect the fact that for other people that isn't a priority... ie: my bro.. beer ball for him - work is work.. you find a job that doesnt suck and pays out the ass... you do it extremely well and are financially rewarded.. that is it. and for him that is aces and cool... not my scene.. how about that bbfea.. the icy b. helping people and liking it.. go figure.... hey does anyone know if hell is freezing over right now? it may be.
i went out with various work doggery the other night in ever more celebration of amanda and dumpy's birfdays......... oddly enough i ended up going to the game with free passes to the terrace club (where i worked for like 2 weeks) with flashdavid and capt'n fingerbang and anthony. that was fun... i sensed that the drinking was about to hit overdrive and i went home... funny story - the good capt'n fingerbang just got a new job and last week we were reviewing his benefits package and i said "well dan, we should just get married now.. these benefits are so good for both you and your wife" .. anyhow i tucked a note to that exact effect in his binder - and he said as he was filling out the paper work and dotting the "i's" an crossing the "t"s... this napkin saying " MARRY ME DAN AND MAXIMIZE YOUR BENEFITS" fell out. I REALLY LIKE WORKING - and always will make my own $$ but his plan has free eyeglasses, and 100% free doctor visits no matter what........ good bless... if only we would get married and adopt cory and flashdavid and if either of them marries and has kids we get extra stuff... > i really think this might be the best plan ever.
