I’ve thought it over and typed out a draft of the dating resume… I’ve opted out of doing it. It is a horse that has been beaten to death on the show and in life in general. To be honest if I am meant to date someone it will happen, there will be the right single gentleman in the right (non disco) place. There won’t be bails of effort and horse shit to trudge through, he won’t have to kill himself to impress my friends and vice versa, there won’t be games involved unless its checkers, or clue…. Dating should be fairly easy not a chronic ulcer guessing what that person means -like do they really want to go out with me? Then why are they still sleeping with their girlfriend…. All of that isn’t how it is supposed to be. And seeing as I am actually happy as is (emotional, stupid situational bullshit aside because it is indeed bullshit and its fixable and surmountable)… I will see if it happens on it’s own…. The resume while funny – not necessary. And you out there – I am pointing directly at you… you that I do want to date or maybe have thought about asking out for a while… get your excuses / or your beer drinking hat ready because who knows 2004 could be the year of “gestures”. Or not- It could just be the year of tofu!!
Keep on keeping on!!! And remain hopeful. You root for me and I will in turn root for you!!
