happy birfday to chris today!
and major kudos/thanks/biggest ups/and proper proper to the flying v's for a most super lavish "betwixt holidays" dinner party this past saturday. holy moly was that an extravagant affair.. dinner included, turkey, pork, crab cakes, sausage, stuffing, potatoes, salad vegetables.. and bunches of appetizers and desserts it was like martha stewart exploded in their house. but i was grateful for it. and so awesome to see all the dogs: dill, the gamblers, mark & sue, kate, lenny and monica, barry et al. plus all the various kiddos that were there. it was really a nice night. even sam said on the way home "well that was nice" and he hates everything. THREE CHEERS TO THE V'S.. well done.
other then that this bird flu or whatever still has me in its clutches.. mostly alot of coughing which is considerably better today --- i think i'm in the home stretch now baby.
let's see... i have the liberry x-mas thing tomorrow and the school staff x-mas thing wed. then the welk and i are going to try a speed round of x-mas shopping wed. evening. am i close to done shopping? no. although knocking out a bunch of stuff on amazon.com really took a bite out of it. ma'bro will be coming home next week that'll be good we're already brainstorming for x-mas eve holiday activities/movies to do/watch over my parents or its dinner and OUT for me.. another holiday of my mother wanting to sit on the couch and plan out her funeral and what stuff do i want when she's dead just ain't gonna cut it.... i have no problem faking fear of snow and driving to get out early... who knows. it'll all work out i'm sure....plus a coupla strategically placed vacation days from the berry have given me week off +. HOOOOOOOORRRRAAAAAYYYYYY!
and with that i'll be on my merry way.
ps: i truly enjoyed my cheesecake and the v's.
