hey happy weekend!
i worked the 12-6 today and it went fast and was pretty low key and fun. thank g.
i watched "million dollar baby" tonight.......grim baby grim.. just like i like em.
although when you read the box and some reviewer says shit along the lines of - it really packs a punch-- or be ready to go several rounds... thats kinda gay.
other then that.
i've begun to not necessarily enjoy but to welcome the smell of skunks... its a part of living where i live and tonight one was stinking up the yard and i went out on to the porch to say "hey ... you go fella.. do what you gotta.." who am i thoreau?
also i went a searchin through ma' stuff for somethin and found a box of letters from days gone bye... how fun is that, whilst i always say NEVER COMMIT UTMOST PERSONAL THOUGHTS TO WRITING - i am glad to have these old letters.... so many from so many.. letters/cards from back in the day from carolyn and maj and that crew... from that time... professions/confessions fun ridiculous thoughts... i'm most intrigued with the huge amount of letters from this kid Karl from high school.. he went to our "brother school" and came over for like home ec. or something and i remember he was dating sue lasch (a.k.a. slasch as her track shirt read..) but we were not romantically involved.. nor do i think we saw each other more the a / less then a handful of times but we wrote each other tons of notes and he was brilliantly hillarious... some note written on HOLIDAY INN note paper......... he was a good guy he would bake cookies in home ec. and give them to me.... wonder where he is.. hope he is amazingly happy and doing well. but i love having all these letters.. so many sooooo personal. hmmmmmmmm.
oh well i'm tired. go get million dollar baby and a bottle of wine and depress yo'selves. then of course ENJOY YOUR CAKE!!!!
