yeah its friday and i'm glad. a week over praise g.
i was flipping through the channels watching THE STING - great movie if you haven't seen it you stink. (robert shaw... amongst the old/dead celebs i'd f.) anyhow i was glad to watch it. there are subtley's in that movie i've shared with my oldest bro since like circa 1985... funny and great. then the omen was on, then rosemary's baby was on, then blow was on... i watched all of none of these but it was nice to know they were there. and and and tomorrow night OUT OF AFRICA is on .. i guess or i think this is referred to as a chick flick but it is such a great movie that i cannot wait to get home tomorrow, settle in, maybe make some popcorn and enjoy. there are lions.
today carolyn brought una to visit me at work. easily one of the GREATEST moments in my recent history. i love this kid and her existance, swear to god, is at times all that i can look at as something good. so weird..
also on the weird note i saw a 2 second commercial for cat stevens records and to be honest .. i'm a fan (pre hearing about harold and maude) and after seeing the commercial i was listening to cd's and was reminded of how much i love the song trouble:
depressing, sure but ... also he wrote a song called ruby love which i personally devoted to one of my deceased cats - ruby.
forgive me if liking cat stevens is gay. but big picture -- who cares.
