baby fea in BLACKOUT 2003 (insert fantastical news music).
o.k. so we had a black out, and man it was black out. i felt so powerless. (these are just a few of the jokes the outage gave me time to come up with). i thought it was kind of fun. a few more hours and it would have gone over the edge of fun to annoyance and then into hassle. but as it was...
1. the outage immediately cut into my viewing my taped version of my soap operas... what was stephan going to say? i'll never know. (all tragedies hit right in the middle of my soaps- that is bullshit)
2. i thought i forgot to pay my electric bill
3. upon consulting with the dudes behind me i got the story
(i contemplated prank calling a friend who works at Cleveland Energy resources and blaming him)
4. i sat on the porch (after i checked in with the parents) and worked on the blanket i'm crocheting
5. CAROLYN CALLED WITH AN EMERGENCY - THERE WAS BEER IN HER FRIDGE GETTING WARM.... i had to leave without haste... zing...
6. i sat outside with carolyn and sam they cooked out we drank into the darkness.. i took a coupla beers for at home
7. i pulled in to see my landlord/hero on his porch so we drank the beers and chatted and looked at how dark it was
8. went inside, listened to the radio with a battery for a while in candle light
9. i went to sleep
this morning power, no power, power, no power.... PPPPPOOOOOOWWWAAA!
then i went to carolyns to watch her tape of the aforementioned missed soap... and in case you were wondering stephan is plotting still to manipulate his nephew and maybe even kill emily. then we took the dog to the beach then went on a drive - i just watered my flowers (just only a tiny tiny bit) and did some spider fighting and that brings me upstairs here with you all.
i will hope that you've all come out of BLACKOUT 2003 a.o.k. and everything is back to normal for you .
